Embroidered Jewelry
Rich and complex, the Aari embroidery technique of glass beads was born in northern India in the 15th century. These embroideries adorned the wrists of the Rajput princesses of Rajasthan. Aari comes from Aar, which designates the needle of master embroiderers. The Aari collection of cuffs and jewelry embroidered with fine glass beads from Japan revisits this ancestral artisanal technique.
