Born in Paris, Anne-Claire Lancenet is the product of a meeting between East and West.
She owes her natural curiosity to her multicultural background. Her Haitian, Lithuanian, Polish, and French grandparents opened the doors to a passionate, colorful, and diverse world.
From the Maeght Foundation to the artists' studios of Saint Paul de Vence, she discovered art in all its forms.
From La Baule or the family home, the "thousand and clear villa", cradle of years of carefree living, Anne-Claire Lancenet preserves the memory of a caring art of living, turned towards others.
Passionate about literature, she embraced Hypokhâgnes, but preferred Prévert. A devotee of well-being, she learned perseverance and letting go through yoga.
Self-taught, she captures the moment through photography, practices drawing, writes her first texts, and creates her first accessory models.
Curious and altruistic by nature, Anne-Claire Lancenet traveled for twenty years. From French workshops to those of Pakistan and Asia, as artistic director for major fashion brands, she discovered the know-how of many countries, spotted talents, forged connections, maintained friendships... .
Nourished by these thousands of encounters, the designer brought them together to create the brand "Mille et Claire." A collective of artisans, a union of international expertise combined with the demands of French design and its unique style for a new art of living that re-enchants our daily lives.
